I've always been treated well their. I've been to the emergency room several times and the diagnosis has very accurate. Their food is top notch. It's better than many restaurants I've eaten in.
Every service is extremely expensive in this hospital! I have pretty good insurance with deductible, by using my insurance's price compare tool, this hospital and other two in the same UPMC Susquehanna system hospitals have the highest price on every health procedure around Williamsport area! Now Gesinger in Danville is beaten by them on the price. Recently I had a CT scan of Abdomen and pelvic there, it cost me almost $2800 after my insurance discount. If you have high deducible and coinsurance, avoid this hospital if you could. It will cost you a fortune or a leg and an arm. Ridiculous pricing for a small city without too many health provider choices. Sure, it's easier to rip off people when there are not too many competitions around.
No handicap parking in front of building. Labs make you wait at least an hour. You have to sign in on a computer where everyone can see your information.
The Emergency Room at Williamsport is awful. From first hand experience and friends and family experience, 3-6 hour waits are normal. Go elsewhere. They charge you an arm and a leg too.
Don't ever work for this company.
