Friendly and knowledgeable employees. Wide range of product section. On a previous visit I asked if they had dental products for cats. The employee seemed surprised but replied, "We do!" She walked me directly to where the feline dental products were and gave me an introduction to them. Then she said, "I'll let you think over everything and make your selection." There was no high pressure sales, nor preference for one brand over another. I had also asked this particular PetSmart to stock larger bags of the cat food I feed my kitties. Next trip, they had expanded the entire product line of my brand. They care for not only the pet, but the pet owner making sure they are doing their best!
Literally the best store ever. The staff is extremely knowledgable and kind. They price match other stores and sites, have a good selection of products, and actually know what they’re talking about. They won’t sell you a pet if they don’t think you won’t take care of it, or if you don’t have the proper setup.
My friend and I went to PetSmart looking for an eyelash crested gecko. We got there, got to hold the gecko, and were told what supplies we needed to buy for him. After we had all the supplies, we told the employee working that we were ready to purchase the gecko. She then asked for our ID. Neither of us knew we had to be 18 and have to sign in order to buy an animal. They never mentioned it to us, but later argued that they told us the policy. We called a friend of age in town to sign for the gecko which the workers then gave us a lecture on how we were “trying to play them and sneak around” stating that we were asking different employees the same things just to get our way. She did let our friend sign for the lizard and we were able to buy it, but she kept giving us nasty looks and whispering to the other employees right in front of us. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional about the situation. Something obviously needs to be done about the employees attitude, because the way she treated us after we brought in our friend to sign for the gecko was not how a business should ever be run.
Your typical pet store. Has everything you need for all different animals. They sell fish, lizards, and other animals. Not sure what they are...lol
I always recommend this store and will continue to shop here often.
The employees were wonderful with helping me out selecting a new brand of food for my pets, returning food from a well known company that had made them ill and even with the unloading & loading of the food into my vehicle! I appreciate all their helpful knowledge especially since this well known company owns practically every label of food on the shelves! Thanks so much for your help and knowing that, if the type of food that I chose to try doesn't go over well with my pets, that I can return it to try another "flavor or kind" is a great help as well!
