Given the choice, I'd drive a few miles out of town and visit Harvest Moon lanes.
Right price. Decent music. Decent staff.
Compared to other bowling lanes I've attended, Faxon is okay. On multiple occasions we've been kicked out of our lane because of league play without any forewarning. It's off-putting when you intend to bowl for the evening and you are forced to cut your game short. The food is average (but, to be fair, you don't go bowling for the food) and the prices are high for shoe rental and lanes.
